Out of all my moves, this was probably the smoothest and easiest. Now I need to get a few things and start unpacking. Also need to figure out dinner, which seeing as I’m catholic and it’s Good Friday will be something without meat.

eat meat, you need it as part of a balanced diet.

Buenas noches.
As a fellow Catholic, may I recommend some fried shrimp, mac and cheese (from scratch), and some bleu cheese salad?

We can have fish, just no chicken, pork, or beef.

If all of my cooking stuff wasn’t packed, I’d make something like that.
I made tuna, risotto, and asparagus one Friday. It was pretty great.

That looks great! I gave up potatoes and corn for Lent so it was a challenge at some of the local fish fries having available sides other than bread and canned applesauce. Especially because my parish makes some darn tasty potatoes au gratin.

All the nearby fish fries closed?
Frozen cheese pizza is boring but functional. Throw some spinach, Italian herbs, garlic and/or onion powder, and crushed black pepper on it for some more interesting flavor.
When I lived alone - and even still because my wife likes it - I got skilled at making mac & cheese with canned tuna, peas or broccoli, and optionally cream of mushroom (or cream of broccoli) soup. Plus shredded cheese, black pepper, and garlic and/or onion powder (sense a theme?).

I might have to, would still need to find a place to park it. I’m in New York for a week and come back home for two weeks than am in Europe for 10 days after that. I don’t plan to do anything until after that, unless one falls into my lap.

Late to the party but - I had saag paneer with rice tonight. I eat a fair amount of Indian food but have never actually tried saag paneer before because it looks kind of gross. That was a mistake. Find an Indian restaurant and get yourself some saag paneer.
